Connect CallOptix to Claude.
Connect your CallOptix workspace to Claude and explore the conversations behind your business questions.
Documentation reviewed
Before you start
- An active CallOptix administrator account with a verified email address.
- MCP access enabled for that account. Ask your CallOptix administrator if you are unsure.
- Calls available in your CallOptix workspace to try your first question.
For Claude: Use Claude Pro or Max for an individual custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an organization Owner or Primary Owner must add the connector before members can connect it.
Need access? Contact CallOptixConnect your account.
- 1
Open your connector settings
For Pro or Max, open Claude → Customize → Connectors, then select + → Add custom connector.
For Team or Enterprise owners: open Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Members should wait until their owner has added CallOptix.
Open Claude (opens in a new tab) - 2
Add the CallOptix server
Name the connector CallOptix and paste the remote MCP server URL below. Leave the optional OAuth client ID and client secret fields blank, then select Add.

Connect your CallOptix account
Find CallOptix under Customize → Connectors and select Connect. Sign in on the CallOptix authorization page with your verified administrator account. Review and approve the requested access.
Team and Enterprise members connect their own accounts after the owner adds the connector. Your CallOptix account must also have MCP access enabled.
- 4
Enable it in your conversation
Start a conversation, open the + menu, choose Connectors, and enable CallOptix. You can now ask Claude to use your CallOptix data.
If CallOptix is listed but no tools are used, check this conversation’s connector toggle and mention CallOptix explicitly in your prompt.
Your first question
Make sure you’re connected.
Paste this into your assistant after connecting CallOptix.
Use CallOptix to show my five most recent calls. What to expect: Your assistant should use a CallOptix tool and return the latest calls available to your account. Review any tool confirmation it presents.
No calls returned? Check that your workspace has data. An empty result can be valid; an authentication or access error needs the troubleshooting steps below.

If something gets stuck.
I can’t find the option to add a connector.
Check the supported plan and workspace permissions in your assistant’s guide. ChatGPT requires Developer mode for this custom setup. Claude Team and Enterprise require an organization owner to add the connector first. Interface labels can change; use the linked official instructions for the latest controls.
CallOptix says MCP access is not enabled.
Ask your CallOptix administrator to enable MCP access for your account. Creating a connector does not enable account access. If you are the administrator and need help enabling it, contact CallOptix through the contact link below.
My account is not eligible to connect.
The current release requires an active CallOptix administrator account with a verified email address and MCP access enabled. Verify your email in CallOptix if prompted. Agent accounts cannot connect in this release; contact your administrator if your account is archived.
Sign-in or authorization fails.
Use your CallOptix email and password on the CallOptix sign-in page. Confirm the server URL matches this guide, restart the connection from your assistant, and finish the authorization flow. If you have forgotten your password, use the CallOptix app’s password reset flow. Contact us with the error message and assistant name if it still fails; never send your password or tokens.
The connection is added, but my assistant does not use it.
Enable CallOptix for the current conversation in ChatGPT or Claude. In a local Codex client, check /mcp and complete authentication if needed. Start a new conversation and explicitly ask it to use CallOptix. Refresh the app’s tools or reconnect if your assistant reports stale tools.
The first question returns no calls.
A successful connection can return an empty result when no calls are available to your account. Confirm you can see calls in CallOptix, then ask for a date range you know contains calls. Results depend on your workspace data, permissions, and enabled features.
How do I disconnect?
Disable or remove CallOptix in your assistant’s connector or MCP server settings. Ask your CallOptix administrator to disable your account’s MCP access if you need to stop its access across clients.
